This made-to-order approach helps us:

Because of this personalized production process, we have specific policies regarding returns and refunds.

Returns & Exchanges Policy

Standard Orders (Change of Mind)

⚠️ We do not accept returns or exchanges for change-of-mind purchases.

Under EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(c), goods that are made to order or clearly personalized are exempt from the standard 14-day right of withdrawal that applies to most online purchases.

When you place an order with Happy Chaos Gang:
- Production begins immediately after your purchase
- Each item is created specifically according to your chosen specifications
- The product cannot be resold as it was made uniquely for your order

Important: Please carefully review your order details — including design, size, color, and shipping address — before completing your purchase.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

We stand behind the quality of our products. If you receive an item that is:
- Damaged during shipping
- Defective in manufacturing or printing
- Incorrect (wrong design, size, or color)

We will gladly offer a replacement or refund.

What to do:

1. Contact us within 14 days of delivery at info@happychaosgang.com
2. Include in your email:
   - Your order number
   - Clear photos of the item and the issue
   - A brief description of the problem

3. Our team will review your case within 24-48 hours
4. If approved, we'll send a replacement at no cost or process a full refund

What Qualifies as Damaged or Defective?

We will accept returns/offer replacements for:

✅ Print defects (misprinted design, colors off, fading, cracking)  
✅ Manufacturing defects (ripped seams, holes, tears)  
✅ Shipping damage (item arrived visibly damaged)  
✅ Wrong item received (different product, size, or color than ordered)  
✅ Missing items from your order

We cannot accept returns for:

❌ Normal wear and tear after use  
❌ Damage caused by improper care or washing  
❌ Minor color variations between screen display and printed product  
❌ Change of mind or sizing errors (please check measurements before ordering)  
❌ Items that have been worn, washed, or altered

Refund Process & Timeline

If your return is approved:

1. Refund processing time: 5-7 business days from approval
2. Bank processing time: Additional 5-10 business days (depending on your bank)
3. Refund method: Original payment method used at checkout

Please note:
- Original shipping costs (€5) are non-refundable unless the error was on our end
- You will not need to return damaged/defective items to us — we'll handle it digitally to save time and hassle

Lost or Undelivered Packages

If your order shows as "delivered" but you haven't received it:

1. Check with neighbors, building reception, or household members
2. Verify the shipping address on your order confirmation
3. Contact the carrier directly using your tracking number
4. If the package cannot be located after 7 days, email us at info@happychaosgang.com with your order number

We'll work with you to investigate and, if necessary, send a replacement or issue a refund.

⚠️ Important: We are not responsible for packages stolen after confirmed delivery (porch theft). However, we recommend contacting local authorities and your carrier to file a claim.
