Ordering & Shipping
How long does shipping take?
We deliver across Europe in approximately 8 business days from the moment you place your order.
Here's the breakdown:
👕 Production: 2-4 business days (we make each item especially for you)
🚛 Shipping: 4-6 business days (from our facility to your door)
⚠️ Important: Business days don't include weekends or holidays. During peak seasons (like the holidays), things might take a couple extra days.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs €5 for all orders across Europe, regardless of order size.
No surprises at checkout — what you see is what you pay.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently, we ship exclusively to Europe. If you're outside Europe and dying to join the chaos, drop us a line at info@happychaosgang.com — we love hearing from you, and who knows what the future holds.
Will I receive a tracking number?
Absolutely. Once your order ships, you'll automatically receive a tracking number via email.
Keep an eye on your inbox (and spam folder, just in case) so you can stalk your package like the rest of us.
My tracking hasn't updated in days. Should I worry?
Probably not. Tracking can be slow to update, especially during the first 24-48 hours after shipping or when crossing borders.
If it's been more than 5 business days without movement, reach out to us at info@happychaosgang.com and we'll investigate.
Products & Quality
What are your products made of?
Quality matters. Here's what we use:
Adult T-Shirts:
- 100% combed and ring-spun cotton (heather colors contain polyester)
- Lightweight: 142 g/m²
- Pre-shrunk fabric
- Side-seamed construction
Kids T-Shirts:
- 100% Airlume combed and ring-spun cotton
- Soft, breathable, and durable
- Tear-away labels for comfort
Sweatshirts:
- Cotton-poly blend for warmth and flexibility
- Ribbed cuffs and hem
- Relaxed, cozy fit
Caps:
- 100% brushed and garment-washed cotton
- Unstructured, low-profile design
- Adjustable strap with brass buckle

Are your designs printed or embroidered?
Our designs are printed using high-quality direct-to-garment (DTG) printing. This method ensures vibrant colors, sharp details, and a soft feel that won't crack or peel with proper care.
Caps and some sweaters feature embroidered designs for a premium, durable finish.
How should I care for my Happy Chaos Gang gear?
Each product has specific care instructions listed on its product page.
General guidelines:
- Machine wash cold (30ºC), inside out
- Tumble dry low or hang to dry
- Avoid bleach and harsh detergents
- Don't iron directly on the design
Treat it well, and it'll survive toddler tantrums, coffee spills, and countless laundry cycles.
Do your products run true to size?
Yes, our products generally run true to size with a relaxed, comfortable fit.

Pro tip: If you're between sizes or prefer a looser fit, we recommend sizing up.
What if my size is sold out?
Since we produce items on demand, sizes are almost always available. However, occasionally a specific size might be temporarily out of stock.
If a size is unavailable, it will show as sold out in the size selector on the product page.

Payment & Checkout
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept:

All payments are securely processed through Shopify's encrypted payment system.
Is my payment information secure?
100%. We don't store any of your payment details. All transactions are handled by Shopify's secure, PCI-compliant payment gateway.
Your info is safe with us.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
Because we start producing your item as soon as you order, we can't make changes or cancel orders once they're placed.
Double-check everything before hitting "Complete Order" — especially size, color, shipping address, and that you didn't accidentally add 5 of the same shirt (it happens).
Returns, Exchange & Refunds
Can I return or exchange my order?
Here's the deal: All Happy Chaos Gang products are made-to-order specifically for you after you place your order. Because each item is produced according to your selected specifications (design, size, color), we generally do not accept returns or exchanges for change-of-mind purchases.
Why? Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU Article 16(c), made-to-order goods customized to customer specifications are exempt from the standard 14-day return policy.
However, we absolutely stand behind our quality. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we'll make it right.
What if my item arrives damaged or defective?
We're sorry that happened. Contact us within 14 days of delivery at info@happychaosgang.com with:
- Your order number
- A photo of the issue
- A brief description of the problem
We'll review your case and offer a replacement or refund if the issue is on our end.
What if I receive the wrong item?
Mistakes happen (we're only human). If you received the wrong product, contact us at info@happychaosgang.com within 14 days of delivery with:
- Your order number
- A photo of what you received
- What you were supposed to receive
We'll send you the correct item ASAP at no extra cost.
Can I exchange for a different size?
Unfortunately, no. Because each product is made-to-order and cannot be resold, we can't offer size exchanges.
Our advice: Check the Size Guide carefully before ordering. If you're between sizes, size up.
I ordered the wrong size. What are my options?
We totally get it — sizing can be tricky. Unfortunately, since each item is custom-made for you, we can't exchange or refund change-of-mind orders.
But here's what you can do:
- Gift it to a friend (or a fellow chaotic parent)
- Order the correct size and pass the first one along
- Reach out at info@happychaosgang.com — while we can't promise anything, we're human and we'll see what we can do
How long do refunds take?
If we approve a refund, it will be processed within 5-7 business days.
Once processed, it can take an additional 5-10 business days for the funds to appear in your account, depending on your bank.
Custom orders & Personalisation

Can I request a custom design or personalized text?
Not at the moment. All our designs are pre-made with love (and a lot of coffee).
BUT if you've got an idea that's too good to ignore, email us at info@happychaosgang.com. We can't promise anything, but we love hearing from creative parents.
Do you take bulk or wholesale orders?
Currently, we focus on individual orders.

Technical & Account Issues
I didn't receive my order confirmation email. What should I do?
First, check your spam or junk folder — sometimes emails like to hide there.
Still nothing? Email us at info@happychaosgang.com with your order details (name, email, approximate order date), and we'll resend it.
How do I track my order?
Once your order ships, you'll receive an email with a tracking link. Click it to see real-time updates on your package.
Lost the email? No worries. Contact us at info@happychaosgang.com with your order number, and we'll send it again.
Can I change my shipping address after ordering?
Unfortunately, no. Once an order is placed, we start production immediately and can't update the shipping address.
Pro tip: Double-check your address before completing checkout.
If there's an urgent issue, contact us ASAP at info@happychaosgang.com — we'll do our best, but we can't guarantee anything.
I haven't received my order and it's been over 8 business days. What now?
We're sorry for the delay. Reach out to us at info@happychaosgang.com with your order number and tracking info, and we'll investigate immediately.
Most delays happen during customs processing or due to carrier issues, but we'll work with you to resolve it.
